Michael Tomalin

Group Chief Executive, National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD)

Mr. Michael Hardwick Tomalin is a senior international wholesale- and private banker with hands on executive experience in the UK, Japan, Middle East, Australasia, the Caribbean and the Far East. Trained as an Investment Manager at Rothschild and broadened into General Management at Barclays, he was Chief Executive of Barclays Private Banking from 1992 – 1999. He was appointed Chief Executive of the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) second largest universal bank in mid 1999.
