Captain Maktoum Al-Houqani
Offshore Manager, Abu Dhabi Petroleum Ports Operating Company
Like with many seafarers Captain Al Houqani started his career at sea on-board tankers. Here Captain Al Houqani developed his nautical knowledge and furnished his understanding of the maritime industry. Following this he moved to ports and terminals operation. Captain Al Houqani started on tug-boat handling before he engaged as a pilot for the petroleum ports of Abu-Dhabi and then took up management positions.
Captain Al Houqani holds a Master Degree of Maritime Policies which further enlarged his maritime knowledge.
