Capt. Feisal A. Saad

Manager, Ras Laffan Port

Capt. Feisal Saad is currently the Manager of Ras Laffan Port in ‎Qatar. The world largest LNG port also handles associated products ‎such as GTL, condensates, petrochemicals and LPG. ‎

After obtaining Master Mariner Certification in 1987 he joined the ‎Maersk Company London. He was given command in 1992 and ‎served on gas and oil tankers for the organisation. In 1997, hewas ‎appointed as Fleet Safety & Quality Manager in Maersk’s London ‎headquarters. Capt. Saad was also tasked to supervise the ‎company's extensive new-build program and delivery of diverse ‎vessel types including oil & gas tankers, container ships and AHTS ‎vessels.‎

Feisal Saad joined Qatar Petroleum in 1999. He was appointed as ‎Mesaieed Port's Harbour Master in 2004 and was further promoted ‎to manage Ras Laffan Port in 2007. ‎

Capt. Saad is a Member of the Nautical Institute, Member of the ‎Royal Institute of Navigation and Member of the Honorable ‎Company of Master Mariners.‎
